Stanford Blood Center and the Sharks Foundation Team Up for 12th Annual Save a Life Blood Drive

STANFORD, Calif. — Stanford Blood Center (SBC) and the Sharks Foundation are teaming up once again for the 12^th Annual Save a Life Blood Drive Saturday, December 16 at the SAP Center. The drive will take place in the North Concourse Entrance from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Additional partners Donate Life and Be The Match will also be in attendance to register those interested in organ and tissue donation.

“The Sharks Foundation is honored to partner with Stanford Blood Center for the twelfth consecutive year,” said Sharks Foundation Coordinator, Missy Zielinski. “As part of our Season of Giving campaign in December, supporters and fans are able to give the gift of life through their donation at the Save a Life Blood Drive.”

All donors will have a chance to win exciting prizes, including tickets to the Sharks v. Blackhawks game on March 1. They will also be entered into the popular “Power Hour” prize drawings for several chances to win merchandise and autographed Sharks memorabilia.

“This year’s prizes will also include a Zamboni ride and a ‘bench warmer fan experience,’ where fans can win a chance to sit on the player bench during warm ups,” Stanford Blood Center spokesperson, Loren Magaña, said. “The Sharks Foundation always offers the best promotions to keep faithful donors coming year after year.”

All attendees must be at least 16 years of age or older to enter SAP Center for this event.
