Red Cord Program

Do you want to be a part of something important that lasts beyond high school?

Participate in Stanford Blood Center’s Red Cord Program designed just for high school students who want to make an impact that lasts a lifetime. No homework required!

HOW IT WORKS

There are two ways to earn your Red Cord. Complete one or both.

  1. Donate blood twice during high school at a school mobile drive or any Stanford Blood Center location. Not sure if you are eligible to donate? Click here.
  2. Partner with Stanford Blood Center to coordinate a mobile drive at your high school to make it super convenient for you and your classmates to donate. Click here for all the details.

Wear your SBC Red Cord on graduation day and share your incredible commitment to saving lives.

Ready to get started? Reach out to sbc-blooddrives@stanford.edu and we’ll get back to you with the information you need!

High school doesn’t last forever, but the impact you make will.
