Get Ready for the New Look of SBC’s Donor Website
By Nadia Alvarado, Communications specialist
SBC is delighted to announce our donor website will soon be sporting a new look that will be both easy on the eyes and easier to navigate.
Once the new website is live, the first thing you’ll notice when you visit sbcdonor.org is that it’s very clear where you should log in if you have an account. You can now use your username, donor ID number or email address to log in too.
Everyone who visits sbcdonor.org will be able to access an updated “Schedule an Appointment” page with improved functionality. Even when not logged in, visitors can search for mobile blood drives by ZIP code or find an open appointment at our Palo Alto, Menlo Park or Mountain View donor centers.
All visitors will also be able to see information about our Rewards Program and view items in the Rewards Catalog – however, you do have to be logged in to place an order.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll notice it’s much easier to find what you’re looking for with the new layout of the website.
The first page you see after logging in has links to the different sections of the website and describes where to look for specific types of information. If you’re a long-time user of the donor website, you will notice your “Donor Info” is no longer displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
It is now displayed as a drop-down window when you click the “Donor Info” tab on the navigation bar at the top of your screen. “Donor Info” is available on every page of the website though this tab and it will provide the same information: blood type, Rewards Program points, lifetime donations and eligibility.
From ordering a replacement donor ID card to looking up wellness information, we hope you agree this new layout is more user friendly and that you enjoy the new look as much as we do. Please note: the website can be viewed on any browser, but it has been optimized for Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) and higher.
