The summer season is historically challenging for blood centers in keeping a sufficient inventory of blood on the shelves. Donations dwindle in large part due to travel, but in addition, we take a hit with high schools being out of session. During the regular school year, high school blood drives account for about 20% of our collected blood.
To this end, we enjoy coming up with special offers as way to encourage more donations. We have some fun things coming up and we hope you’ll be able to take advantage of them!
10th Annual Grateful Life Tour Tie-dye T-shirts
This year marks our tenth tour! Whether this is your first Grateful Life Tour shirt or you’re adding to your collection of many, you’ll want to snag this design. The tour stops at each center for one week. Check the tour schedule below and visit the location of your choice, with an appointment if possible. You’ll walk away with an awesome new T-shirt and that groovy giving feeling!

These popular events are a great way to get some grub after earning your groovy garb. We’ll have burgers and dogs with all the fixin’s, plus chips, fruit, and something sweet. Remember to spin the prize wheel before you go, too!
Holiday Hero Days – Baskin Robbins coupons
Long weekends can mean blood shortages any time of the year. We lose a day of blood collection due to the holiday closure, but still need to provide blood products for patients with surgeries and scheduled therapies. To celebrate the donors who swoop in when patients need them most, we’ve set up Holiday Hero Days. This summer, our Holiday Heroes will receive one Baskin Robbins Pint-for-a-Pint coupon for a visit to one of our centers during the days listed above. No cape required!
