Craig Nelson is one of an elite few who have reached the 500-donation milestone with SBC. We spoke to Craig about the motivation behind each blood donation:

I started in 1980 because the Red Cross came to work and it seemed like the right thing to do. I’ve continued because it simply needs to be done and I can do my part in that.

Both my wife and mother are longtime donors, each giving as often as regulations allow.

The only donation that matters now is the next one.

It’s true that if everyone who gave blood also gave the next time they were eligible, we would have fewer blood shortages. Thank you, Craig, for doing your part.
